La Kisha Wells and her family thought they had “made it” because everything was going well for them. They bought their first home, all of their kids did well in school, and their business was doing well since it was the work they loved and were really passionate about.
All of these good things were credited to God by the family. Even when Wells’ 15-year-old son, Torianto “Junior” Brinson, was declared dead after a terrible car accident, she says that God brought him back to life. When all hoped seemed lost, she turned to God to save her child’s life, and he heard her pleas. Here’s how it happened.
1 How did her son get into an accident?

Everything was going smoothly for La’Kisha and her family, but little did they know that her son would end up in a tragic accident in which he nearly lost his life. “One minute after it happened, my daughter called me, and she was hysterical. ‘Mom, you need to get here now.’ So, they were literally around the corner from the house. So, we drove on the street. Had to get out of the car, run, and saw him lying there,” La’Kisha said.

The emergency medical team was already present at the site and was doing all they could to resuscitate her son. Four people from the emergency services were there and tried to bring the teen back to life. Despite their best efforts, they were not able to revive the teenage boy, leaving La’Kisha and her family devastated.

Brinson was immediately rushed to the Texas Medical Center by Life Flight. But the hospital told Wells that they couldn’t help her son anymore. She said, “I remember asking them, ‘You’re just going to let my baby just sit here?”
