They are some of the most famous historical figures in history. But like all of us, they had a different side when it came to their private lives. These historical figures had perverse and shameless habits that left the world in shock when they were brought into the spotlight. Sure, they all had some derogatory habits, but we wouldn’t be where we are today without these genius men who thought ahead of their time. Here are 12 such famous historical figures who were total perverts in modern history.

1Albert Einstein

Everyone knows and reveres one of the world’s most famous theoretical physicists of all time but his private life was a bit infamous. He was married twice which of course is no big deal but the second time, it was to his cousin and while he was married he had affairs with 10 different women. There was a time he almost married his second wife’s (cousin) 22 year old daughter. According to Einstein, it was a human’s natural urge to have affairs and be promiscuous and it wasn’t healthy to resist. Perhaps all that brain computing and mental power made him extremely horny too.

2 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Here is a shitty pervert in the literal sense of the word. Mozart may have been a prodigy writing music when he was five but this horny little musician was obsessed with SHIT!! Yes, shit. In fact, he may have had the fetish called coprophilia which is the paraphilia of physical arousal and pleasure from feces. YUCK! Take a look at one of his letters he wrote to a cousin and a love interest.

“Oh my ass burns like fire! what on earth is the meaning of this!—maybe muck wants to come out? yes, yes, muck, I know you, see you, taste you—and—what’s this—is it possible?”

This was just one of his coprophiliac influenced letters he wrote her. He also wrote such letters to his parents and sister. What’s even worse is that Mozart’s family when writing letters to each other also expressed such references to coprophilia. According to Benjamin Simkin an endocrinologist, Mozart wrote 39 such letters to his cousin and various family members which included coprophilia references. Here’s another one he penned to his cousin Maria on 5th November 1777.

“Well, I wish you good night, But first shit in your bed and make it burst. Sleep soundly, my love Into your mouth your arse you’ll shove.”

3 Sigmund Freud

The father of modern psychology and the man who initiated the concept of psychiatrists burning a hole in your pocket with the talking cure (or $300 per hour to rant to a person who won’t get irritated). Freud admitted that he often had incestuous thoughts about his mother. In fact, it was perhaps his obsession with sexual behavior that culminated in his theories that human beings were primitive at birth and underwent stages of libido development that included Oral, Anal, Phallic, Latency, and Genital stages.

Freud says that because of such stages, it was natural for humans to be physically attracted to either one of the parents which then lead to psychological problems of jealousy and other emotional issues. In fact, he labeled his own father a pervert and blamed him for his own brother going insane.

4 Marquis De Sade

This loony gave us the term sadism or sadomasochism that has now led to the more perverted form of BDSM. Marquis De Sade in his time had no moral limitations and led a freestyle life that centered on experimentations of sadistic means to invoke physical arousal and pleasure. He believed in torture and infliction of pain to induce pleasure even to the victim. He degraded his victims and was famous for illustrations depicting women in derogatory naked poses such as being treated like dogs or hung upside down and being flogged.

Sade’s own life was also a mix of affairs where he had physical relations with his sister in law, imprisoning a lady for his own physical abuse and pleasure and even including his wife in the act. He was also involved with a 13 year old before dying in 1814. Sade was also jailed for 32 years because of his perversions and writings. According to him, he wanted to create "the most impure tale that has ever been written since the world exists."
