The Partridge Cochin Rooster was a bug breed of chicken that was brought from China to Europe in the 1850’s. They were previously known as Shanghai birds bt whatever their breedm, this guy looks like the king of the birds.

Matteo found his model a conchina hen that he named Jessica whom he says stole his heart. Matteo then knew after seeing the hen and the exhibition what he wanted to do.

Now, this looks like the deadly avenger among birds. With his majestic stance and fantastic plumes and feathers, he truly stands tall and regal. It’s odd how beautifully well the birds posed for Matteo to have captured such lovely shots.

This is another regal bird that Matteo has included in the hardcover book that features at least 85 stunning birds in his chicken collection. It seems all of these birds are natural born posers.

15Red Araucana Cockerel

Araucanas go back almost a hundred years with their origins in South America and were brought by the Spanish. Legend has it that the Araucana laid blue eggs and was a regal breed of chicken.
