21Nature’s little kamikazes

When a bee stings you, never slap it or attempt to kill it on your body surface because this is why. If you don’t want that deadly reaction of swelling and pain from a bee sting, then do nothing and look for the string embedded in your skin. It will be attached to white mucus. The string may even be lodged beneath the skin much like a wooden splinter. Use a sterilized needle or blade to remove it. This photo shows exactly what happens when a bee stings you. The sad part is that the bee too will die after it stings you because as it flies away, the sting lodged in your skin is torn away from the bee rupturing its behind.
