1Every day is a new year

Getting children to bed is the hardest job for a parent. A dad once had the brightest idea when his daughter would create a ruckus every night before bed. He played an old New Year’s Eve countdown tape at 8 pm which would count to midnight to convince the kid that it's 12 am. This didn’t just make the kid ecstatic but also made her think it's an actually midnight and she has to go to bed.

2Self-swing

A parent often has to sacrifice his or her alone time just so they can spend time with their kids. But this parent had a marvellous idea to do both.  This mom tied a long rope as her child rode the swing while she lounged on the patio with an iced tea. Now that's what we call a multi-tasker.

While moms are basically magicians they often go wrong in style. But you need to give them full brownie points for effort. This mom, for Instance, wanted to give her daughter a fancy hairdo.
