The California park shut down a few years ago and hosted a particularly deadly adventure ride. Known as the Perilous Plunge, the ride was basically a moving car that would sharply drop into water from an insane height. If you introduce water to a falling body with accelerating speed, it could be potentially fatal and that's exactly what happened in 2001 when a 40-year-old woman died while on this ride.

It closed in 1997 but not before seriously injuring some of its riders and claiming the life of a person. It was basically a high-speed slip and slide. The biggest problem with this ride was that it had almost no crowd control and if too many people were aboard the ride it would often collapse.

Perhaps the stupidest and most dangerous rides ever. This kayaking experience obviously could not involve actual whitewater rapids and so the makers decided to create some with electricity. Not only were people electrocuted but they could also spot exposed electrical wires in the water which could literally kill people. The water ride was.closed in the 80s.

It’s an open cycle which you ride in open-air, fifty feet above the ground with just a regular seat belt to save you. It’s like riding a trolley in the sky with minimal protection and it’s nerve-wracking.

As per its name, the Spindizzy is like riding a very dizzy bulldozer. The ride itself looks like a huge excavator, and riders only have a seat belt as a guarantee against falling off.
