The Corcovado Mountain in the capital city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is a 710 m high granite peak. It is however known for the 125 foot high statue of Jesus Christ, known as ‘Christ the redeemer’. You can hike up the mountain and see a breathtaking view of the Rio city and the sugarloaf mountain.
