Franklin D. Roosevelt commanded the Oval Office on March 4, 1933. His tenure was rather a difficult one as America was facing the threat of World War II and The Great Depression which was pushing the country into major agony and turmoil. He is the only Democrat who won 4 presidential elections and became the central figure in the mid-20th century. He died on April 12, 1945, while signing documents and letters due to a massive cerebral hemorrhage which shows how pressured job it is to be the President of the United States.

Ford’s decision invoked many controversies and millions of American demanded punishment for Nixon over his criminal charges. In his remaining two years, Ford faced a domestic energy crisis and weak economy involving high unemployment and inflation.

Elected as the 37th president of the United States on January 20th 1969, Richard Nixon became the only US President ever to resign from the presidential post. He is possibly the most famous American president but sadly, for all the wrong reasons. Despite bringing the American Prisoners to war and ending the Vietnam War, signing missile treaty with the Soviet Union and being the person behind 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing, he was always surrounded by controversies. He will always be remembered for the Watergate scandal, which made him the first president ever to be impeached.
