When 25-year-old Isabella announced she was having a Scientology wedding with her boyfriend, the world simultaneously gasped. Isabella's superstar mother Nicole was obviously banned from her daughter's wedding, mainly as she is anti-Scientology and also because Isabella just didn't want her there.

11The Golden Globes snub

Earlier this year when Nicole won a Golden Globe for her performance in the show Big Little Lies, she did not mention Connor and Isabella in her thank you speech.  And it was a pretty telling move as she talked about her husband Keith and the two daughters she has with him but did not bring up her two adoptive children. Fans were quick to draw conclusions about their relationship based on the snub.

Nicole almost never talks about Connor or Isabella in interviews and over the years she mentioned them lesser and lesser. It was pretty clear that in a way, they were not a part of the same family anymore.
