Meghan Markle is a total pathbreaker, and she is already making a serious impact on the British society even before she is an official member of the Royal family. The Suits star is set to marry Prince Harry this May, and is the pattern is to be observed, she is already well on her way to making history. Interestingly, the Royal family doesn’t take kindly to rule-breakers, but would they make their peace with Meghan?

Meghan has given up a lot to be a part of the Royal family, including her entire career so it is obvious that she’s not just going to be a boring Royal member. She’s obviously here to shake things up.

1Her androgynous style

Meghan has opted for an androgynous and unisex wardrobe since her engagement with Prince Harry was declared. She is going for bold colours and solid prints and is notably staying away from feminine numbers. This is a huge talking point among the British fashion brigade as her sis-in-law Kate Middleton is all about understated elegance, as are most Royal women.

2Christmas with Queen Elizabeth

It is very unusual for a commoner, who is not yet officially a member of Royal family to spend a Christmas with the Queen. One can almost say it has never happened before. But Meghan was invited to spend Christmas with the Queen and the entire family at Sandringham. Joining them were Prince Charles, Camilla, William and Kate. The entire family along with Kate also went for a church service.

Royal would-be bride’s usually have to maintain a strict code of conduct. Getting chatty about their personal life is the last thing they’re expected to be doing. It is almost forbidden to tell all about your love life with a Royal. But just a month before her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan was featured as the guest star on an issue of Vanity Fair. The topic of her lengthy interview? Prince Harry, obviously. Meghan talked about everything, from how they met to how much they hang out, to who introduced them. And Meghan’s honesty must have ruffled a few feathers.

4Her mom will walk her down the aisle

Meghan has reportedly asked her mother Doria to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. This custom is usually observed by the bride’s father. But Meghan and Doria share a very close bond since she moved in with her mother after her parents divorced. But this has obviously not happened in the Royal family before and we can’t imagine how the Royals are reacting to this.

Meghan and Harry have chosen a rather modern and hip florist to arrange the floral decorations at their wedding. The decorative designer called Philippa Craddock has been chosen to decorate the venue for the Royal wedding. It has been revealed that Meghan and Harry have opted for a very understated and elegant floral arrangement, and not something too grand which is usually seen at royal weddings.
