Hollywood Celebrities Who Hated Each Other In Real-Life But Act Like Friends On Their Shows

By KK Angus, 12 January 2018

Hollywood is a weird place. You might hate somebody, and yet you have to pretend to love that person like a sister. But finding out that your favorite on-screen BFFs aren’t best friends once the camera stops rolling, and even bitch about each other, can be a real punch to the heart. So, let’s talk about who fought the most while they had to act all chummy for the cameras.

1Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl

The most famous pop culture friendship ever was that of Leighton and Blake on the hit teen drama Gossip Girl. They portrayed socialite BFFs Serena Van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf on the show and claimed they would always have each other’s backs. But sadly, Leighton and Blake did not get along as famously off the cameras. There were constant ego clashes, arguments about screen time, wardrobe issues between the stars.

Blake’s character Serena has always been the bigger hit among the audiences, and that obviously made Leighton pretty insecure, Although the two started off as friends, and it never got violent between the two, they were not happy about coexisting on the same show.

2Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, Sex and the City

Kim Cattrall famously revealed recently that the four main female leads of Sex and the City were never really friends. As talks of another SATC were going on, Kim opened up about her reservations and the team obviously could not make a movie without her. Kim revealed that she and Sarah, who played Samantha and Carrie on the show respectively, were never really the closest of pals.
