While Hollywood’s A-listers are making the most of Instagram and Twitter, Charlize Theron has chosen to use social media only for very specific purposes. She only uses Instagram and Twitter to promote her charity work and sometimes her movies, but her fans find no connection to her through social media. While Hollywood uses social media to post sexy selfies or share behind-the-scenes candids from their photoshoots or even sneak peek into their exotic vacations, it seems like Charlize is missing out on an opportunity to stand out and communicate with her fans.

7She has never been grounded

Charlize is no Angelina Jolie, but she is no Gywneth Paltrow either. She has had a hard time navigating through her fandom and popularity, as she has never really been down-to-earth, but she also lacks the aura of old-school mysteriousness like Angelina or Nicole Kidman. Hollywood strictly goes by the out-of-sight, out-of-mind system, unless you’re a really big name. But Charlize is not really so big, that she could afford to skip out on the necessities of building her image. So, if she doesn’t find a way to revive her label, she could really become a Hollywood nobody.

Charlize Theron is very picky about who she wants to work with, and that certainly isn’t helping out her career. Since she is getting fewer roles already, maybe it’s time for her to being less choosy, and being more open to new scripts and directors?

Charlize is also pretty busy with her family life, and wants to spend more and more time with her adopted children. She has often talked about keeping her private life out of the media glare, and how she wants to be there for her children and family. And that might be her biggest priority right now.

She has romanced Hollywood actors and yet could never really be a part of a power couple, which could have really helped her career. She dated her co-star Stuart Townsend for nine years, and then she dated Sean Penn and even got engaged to him. But they broke it off after two years and ended their engagement in 2015. Charlize could never really use the paparazzi or the media frenzy to her benefit and has been stringently personal about her love life.
