The Vatican Secret Archives are buried within the walls of the Holy city of Vatican and most of them are actually situated underground. The Archives have some of the most important documents from history, some dating back to even the eight century. There are more than 35,000 items, which are shelved in an area spanning across 52 miles and only a very limited number of people are allowed access to the area. Some of the famous documents which are a part of the archives are- letters written by Michelangelo, the request for annulment of a marriage by King Henry VIII, and the letter written by Mary Queen of Scots when she was waiting for her execution.
The archives are always the official property of the current Pope and other than the staff members that take care of the archives, only highly qualified research scholars from around the world, who undergo a rigorous process to gain entry, are allowed to take a look at the historical documents.

The Lascaux Caves are a series of historical caves, which house the famous examples of cave paintings from the Paleolithic Age. It is believed that the paintings are almost 17,000 years old and have images of animals and shapes that were painted by the early humans. These caves are listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but since 2008, the area has been closed off. There was a fungal outbreak, and after that only a limited number of scientists are allowed to go inside the caves only for a few days in a month to study the historical paintings.

The small island in the Bay of Bengal has thick forests and a coral reef that surrounds the entire area, making it almost impossible to reach to the island. But, this is not the reason why people cannot go to the North Sentinel Island; actually, the area is inhabited by an indigenous population who has completely rejected all contacts from the outside world. They are one of the last communities of people in the world who have remained untouched by the modern world and civilization around them. Known as the Sentinelese, these people attack anyone who tries to come anywhere close to their island even. The tribe reportedly killed two fishermen in 2008, who had accidentally come close to the island in their boat.
