This is an exhibit as part of the Weston Super Mare sand sculpture exhibition at Somerset England. The artist is Helena Bangert from Holland. Like Hampton Beach, the Weston Super Mare is a regular exhibition in Somerset.

The sculpture is so lifelike it actually looks like a woman lying covered in sand. Sand sculpting allows artists to etch in more detail because of the flexible texture of sand when mixed with a bit of water. This is why there is so much detail.

This is a beautiful sand sculpture as part of the Puri beach festival in India. The artist is Sudarshan Patnaik. Sudarshan Naik is a renowned artist in India who has also been awarded one of the country’s top honors, a Padma Shri. He is also the Guinness world record holder for the tallest sculpture.
