7 Sterilization in America

There were negative reports about Native American women that they used to torture white men. People started to think that these Native American women that they are unfit to produce a child. The US government took steps and between 1,00,000 and 1,50,000 Native American women were sterilized. If the reports are to be believed, almost 3,400 to 70,000 women were forced into sterilization. This happened in 1970s.

8 Doctors used hepatitis on mentally challenged students

When we all talk about the welfare of mentally disabled children, we should also do our bit towards them and make them as comfortable as possible. But, a heinous incident happened in US between 1956 and 1970. The doctors used hepatitis on the mentally challenged students at the Willowbrook State School in New York. They did so to get an idea about the development of the infection.

9 Shooting at students in Mexico

There was a heinous incident in Mexico in 1968 when the Mexican government placed snipers in front of the students who were protesting at a building. The sniper soldiers, who were deployed there, thought that students have begun shooting at them. As a result, they opened fire on the students. More than 300 students were shot dead in the incident.
