Although we love to see the world in full order and expect it to be most beautiful of places, there are instances which put the humanity to shame. We often yearn to see the world full of beauty and hope. 1 Baby stealing in Spain

There was a secret cartel of doctors, nurses, nuns, and priests who used to steal the newly born babies from their parents in hospitals and later used to sell them to the adoptions. As a matter of fact, there were almost 3,00,000 newly born babies were stolen between 1939 to 1989. They used to tell the parents that their child died during labor or just after the birth.

2 The Phoenix program

It was between 1965 and 1972, the American Intelligence Agency, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), implemented a program called the Phoenix during Vietnam War. The CAI used to infiltrate, capture, interrogate and assassinate people. They were also involved in counter-terrorism activities. The whole operation caused the deaths of 26,000 to 41,000 people.
