One of the parties had been looking for a long period before hearing a faint squeak from the forest, according to a SALVAR rescue organization spokesperson. They had been calling out Lyuda’s name, hoping to get some kind of response or perhaps directing the toddler towards their voices.
As per the SALVAR rescue organization spokesperson’s statement- “One of the groups stopped to rest after searching for a long time, and suddenly they heard a faint squeak. They called once more. And then I heard another squeak.”

Lyuda was conscious and unharmed when they found her. She immediately stretched out her thin arms and hugged her rescuers. The spokesperson went on to say- “Everyone cried – experienced and first-time volunteers, local residents – everyone was in tears.” Given the dire circumstances of the situation, it was fortunate that they found her after three days.

Her remarkable survival was made possible by the exceptionally warm temperatures at night, which hovered about 20 degrees Celsius. ‘Little Lyuda was located in a windbreak after several days alone in the wild. She was weak and covered with mosquito bites, but she was still alive.

The missing child’s mother can be seen crying with relief in a video taken at the search center when she has reunited with her baby girl again. It was an emotional moment for everyone since there was a lot of crying, both from veterans and newcomers, as well as inhabitants of the surrounding area.
