6Palmaris muscle

The Palmaris is along muscle that runs along the elbow to the wrist and is surprisingly missing from 11% of human beings today. It was important for climbing and hanging and would only benefit those into rock climbing and martial arts.

7Male nipples

Who really wants male nipples? No One! In the early fetal development stages, unborn children are sexless which is why nipples are present in both genders. Men lack prolactin for lactation and that’s why can’t produce milk so why the need for nipples.

8Arrector pili muscles

These are small sets of muscles that help animals to puff their fur up for insulation and intimidation. In Humans, this is displayed through the experience of Goosebumps but we don’t exactly have any control which is why it’s not needed.

The appendix is actually a nuisance organ that does not provide any function except to run the risk of inflammation that can become dangerous. In early man it served as a special area to digest cellulose when humans consumed more plants than meat.

10Thirteenth rib

Among body parts not needed 8% of humans have 13 ribs and so do chimpanzees and gorillas. However, it is useless with no function so we are better off without it and will disappear in the future.
