An Easy Test That Will Reveal Your Current Psychological State

7There are three reasons why psychological tests have been created

There are three main reasons why such tests are created. It’s easier to acquire information from tests in comparison to clinical interviews. This is because people don’t tend to open up easily which makes it difficult for psychologists to deal with people. Conducting a test is easier than conducting an interview which is why psychologists are also trained in testing research and teaching.

8Information from tests is scientifically consistent in comparison to those from interviews

If your psychologist is only trying to determine a diagnosis, then that’s ok but concerning decisions on legal matters, disability issues and other issues, then the set information yielded from tests helps psychologists compare you to others making the situation a fair one.

9It’s harder to lie on tests

Yes! You don’t really lie in a test but during a clinical interview, one tends not to speak the entire truth for reasons known to them. Tests ring alarm bells whenever a taker tends to lie. Like the Rorschach inkblot test that won’t provide clues about preferences or healthy responses so it’s tough to make yourself look good.
