3 How to easily separate an egg yolk

Rather than spend money of fancy kitchen accessories, the best way to separate egg yolks form the white is to use an ordinary plastic bottle. Crack the egg into a bowl or plate. Now lightly squeeze the bottle and place the mouth over the yolk. Release the squeeze on the bottle.

4 Milk and mashed potatoes

Don’t add cold milk to mashed potatoes because it will turn it gray. If you want really nice mashed potatoes add boiling milk. You’ll notice the difference.
