After three long years, Alexis responded to the treatment and finally defeated the dreaded cancer. She was still on medication, pills and regularly visits her doctor. When she was asked about her wish, she said that she wanted to bring awareness about acute lymphoblastic leukemia amongst people. So she wished to make a cartoon so that other children in pediatric ward dealing with such life threatening diseases can watch it and get inspired to be brave.
So Make A Wish foundation got on touch with a agency named World Famous, based in Seattle and Alexis met up with them to discuss her wish and the story.
