The first class of the Harry Potter themed Yoga was filled within hours of been advertised. Class participants received a wand each to increase their magical yoga, and they were taught to do yoga in poses like Slytherin cobra poses, Downward Fluffy, and Reverse Wizards.

This class took place in October and Beltran plans to include more classes such as these every Halloween. Beltran said,” I was reflecting on Harry Potter because Halloween night is the night his parents died and I thought it would be interesting to do something around Harry Potter, Halloween and death (from our culture’s perspective).”
The class was named Deathly Hallows Yoga. Beltran then had a second class named Magical Creatures Yoga.
