One of the things about being in love with your talent and nature is that when you get to do that thing in the presence of nature, you get an internal rush of happiness. This is what we are going to show you today through the eyes of a camera which followed a talented skater while she glided her way through the frozen lake into our hearts. Truly, when we first saw Olympic alternate and three-time bronze medalist Elizabeth Putnam skating on that frozen lake in Canada, we could only think of sharing that amazing video footage with you all.

Elizabeth Putnam is a former competitive skater from Canada, who along with Sean Wirtz has won bronze medals at National and International competitions. She had started to skate when was just 5 years old and later went on to do figure-skating at a professional level before she retired in 2007. But retirement from competitive skating didn’t stop her from pursuing her passion and when she appeared in the video that we are talking about in the year 2015, we could all see how much she enjoys skating even years after retiring.

When we follow our passion to just follow it and not to gain any professional recognition through it, we do it basically for the happiness that it gives to our soul. That is exactly what Putnam intended to do when she decided to skate in the mountains of British Columbia.
At about an elevation of 2,500 meters, Putnam does what none of us can even think of doing. One can only reach the lakes of the area via a helicopter, so basically Putnam makes sure that she is pretty much the only one who could be there on that lake.
