There are quite a few women in the world who live with the desire of being a mother but never get to be one. Kristen Williams from Cincinnati, Ohio is one such woman who always wanted to be one and her dream soon came true. However, Kristen’s dream came with a challenging situation and she rose to the occasion like any mother would.
This wannabe mom adopted a girl with eaten nose. And as challenging a situation that could be, Kristen instead transformed the girl to look like what she does today. Read on to see how Kristen transformed the life of two little orphans Munni and Roopa the baby with an eaten nose.
1 She turned to India for adoption and was given her first surprise
When Kristen Williams first thought of international adoption, she turned to Nepal where she paid $ 28000 to an organization; however the US subsequently banned all adoptions from Nepal. That did not deter Kristen from turning to India.
She then turned to India where she surprisingly came across a 5-year-old girl named Munni. The little girl was scarred all over her body and it was apparent she was abused by her caretakers. She had been in an orphanage since 2009. “It was heartbreaking to see how many girls need a loving home in India. But I suddenly felt this pull for this little girl. Her name was Munni and she was just 5 years old at the time. I don’t know what it was but we connected. I just knew she was my daughter”.
