For many decades, a formation of larch trees which was growing in shape of Swastika in Brandenburg, Germany, was not noticed by anyone. It was first noticed by an intern of a landscaping company in 1992 when he was taking aerial photographs.
Nazi symbols were found in the forests of Germany and beyond too. As per Der Spiegel, this is a horticultural emblem of hate. This design which measured 200-feet by 200-feet was surrounded by pine trees and it was visible only during the fall as the larches turn yellow and orange at that time. Some say that these were planted by the German prisoners of war while several others are of the opinion that they were planted to pay tribute to the pact made between Stalin and Hitler.
