But like in the city with its dark and dingy alleys, the internet too has its own sinister alley a hot bed of crime and banned websites which you can’t access. Well! What’s the difference between New York and New York City? It’s the same with the dark and deep web where the dark web exists in the deep web which also contains thousands of databases, webmail pages, registration forums and millions of pages existing for pointless reasons. Almost 96% of the internet comprises the deep web.
Within this quagmire is found the Dark web, the hotbed of everything you aren’t supposed to do. In fact it could be illegal even browsing certain websites on the dark web. While it may not be illegal per se to browse the dark web, there are many sites if you visit repeatedly can invite suspicion and be regarded as proof of intended criminal activity. It’s best to keep away from drugs and pedophilia on the dark web.

The Dark Web exists in an encrypted network which your regular search engines or browsers cannot find. Most sites on the dark web use an encryption tool called TOR (The Onion Router) hide their activity. In fact if you are curious enough to browse the dark Web, you will also need to use Tor which works as a browser that hides your activity and identity. It spoofs your location making it appear as if you are browsing from another country but it isn’t foolproof.
