8 Restriction on selling any type of modern high-tech device developed in foreign country

People in North Korea cannot buy a modern high-tech device developed in foreign country. It is absolutely not possible to buy an Apple iPad in North Korea. But, as per reports, North Korea has developed its own tablet which boasts of the same capability as of Apple iPad.

9 People do not have access to western magazines

Foreign media is banned in North Korea. People are not allowed to buy and read a western magazine. There is a strong control over what is printed in the press. The authorities in North Korea also monitor the stuffs which are printed. People do not have access to lifestyle magazines.

10 People are restricted to use sanitary pads

It is quite scary that the country of North Korea does not allow use of sanitary pads. Sanitary pads and tampons are unavailable in North Korea. Instead, women use reusable pads in North Korea.
