Metheny was soon caught and arrested for the murders and was sent to prison awaiting trial. Surprisingly he was acquitted because of lack of evidence thanks to his quick thinking and disposing of the bodies. But this encouraged Metheny even more and the taste of blood had firmly taken hold of him. He resumed searching for his wife and child. It seemed that some vicious evil had taken hold of Metheny. His demented state reflected in the bizarre drawings attributed to him in jail depicting murder and degradation of women.

Jail was no rehab for Metheny and he must have been planning and plotting in his mind just waiting to get out. Immediately after release, Metheny killed two prostitutes and this time he did the unthinkable. He was now murdering just because he enjoyed it. He had become a regular Jason X or like those you only see in horror movies. For him killing became a sport.

9What he did with them

Metheny brought back the bodies of the women to his home where he chopped them into pieces and stored the meaty parts in his refrigerator freezer. The unusable parts he buried in a vacant truck parking lot which was incidentally owned by the same company he worked for.
When he reached back home, he minced the human flesh and mixed it with pork. He formed them into nice little patties and made burgers out of them which he then sold at a BBQ stand that he started on the streets of Baltimore. Metheny ran his BBQ stand selling human meat burgers to several unsuspecting customers including truckers and townies. There was no way now that the bodies of his victims would ever be discovered.
