Photographer Petr Chugunov got very excited to see the beautiful surroundings which was a result of the extreme temperatures. He did not wanted to let it go undocumented. He then forced a ballerina to perform in the temperatures of -41 degrees Celsius.

9Chinese boy’s hair froze while he was sitting in an exam

This year, Russia is not the only country which made headlines due to extreme cold temperatures. Around a week back, a picture of Chinese boy sitting in an exam when the temperature was – 9 degrees Celsius. The temperature caused his hair to freeze in the cold conditions. It was really amusing to the other students in the classroom. The 10 years old boy was then called “Snowflake Boy”.

The snowflake boy’s name has not been disclosed. He studies in third grade at Zhuanshanbao primary school in Xinjie Township, China. The photo showing his frozen hair was taken by school’s headmaster Fu Heng. Fu also took picture of the boy’s hand. He said, “It was the first day of their final exams. The temperatures dropped to minus nine degrees Celsius in about 30 minutes that morning.”
