Part of that special group was husband and wife couple Adam and Ami Flaherty. Ami weighs 24 stone and says she was embarrassed because her weight ruined their honeymoon in Egypt. But at the resort, she says she can jump into the pool without fear of making a giant splash. In fact picture the event of a plus size person jumping into the pool amid cheers which grow louder for the bigger splash made all because everyone there is a plus size too, that’s one healthy and beautiful environment.

Ami Flahery says she can also lie on a lounger without fearing of smashing it. “In the past, I’ve broken plastic loungers and although I’ve always laughed it off at the time, I was left mortified and wanted the world to swallow me up.” She says in a resort of plus size people; you don’t have to bother about breaking things or not fitting into the environment. You can relax and have a good time.

For those who seem interested in visiting the resort, it will set you back $16,400 for six days for a group of 24. This o includes airport transfers, all meals and accommodation. That works out to just $684 per person which isn’t so bad considering the three buffet meals a day.
