Super Rapper Rick Ross Shows off his Body and Reveals How He Lost 100 Pounds in just 7 Months

Rick Ross went through a rigorous crossfit training program that included a variety of High-Intensity interval training workouts or HIIT. He admitted it was different from a regular workout which is correct as HIIT takes less time but you end up burning fat the entire day. It is ideal for those with a busy lifestyle but who want to lose weight.

An effective HIIT workout could take no more than 20 minutes. On the Rikey Smiley Show, Ross revealed “"It's a different type of little workout. I feel good.” Ross said that it was Reebok who introduced him to a trainer who taught him the protocols of crossfit training. He admitted at the time he didn’t really have a specific weight in mind as a target but he ended up losing 100 pounds.

The rapper appeared shirtless in May showing off his new figure a vast difference to when he weighed 350 pounds. He also says that cross fit allows him to eat the way he wants and it burns a lot of calories. “So I just, I still eat the way I want to eat...I just go to the gym. I do this s-t called, uh, Crossfit. I call it 'RossFit.' Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's called 'RossFit' now."

6Crossfit training is a fast but rigorous way to burn fat

Cross fit training has been advocated by stars like auto racing star Danica Patrick Bob Harper the star of “The Biggest loser”. Ross says that in comparison to a treadmill workout of 30 minutes, cross fit instead works you out entirely burning calories as well as building muscle and but even takes a shorter time. In his interview he says that he could work out for 20 minutes and look great flexing his biceps for the camera.

Rick Ross lost 100 pounds in 7 months, from 350 pounds after engaging on a rigorous crossfit training program. In a nutshell, crossfit training is an exercise philosophy that integrates elements of HIIT, Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, gymnastics, calisthenics girevoy sport, and various exercises. It is an effective workout involving squats, pushups, running, rowing and a variety of movements guaranteed to burn fat long after you finish your workout.
