The department was also good enough to issue guidelines on what to do if a dog was poisoned. If you feel your dog has consumed poison, you need to remain calm and move your dog or pet away from the poisonous source. It would be beneficial to take a sample of the toxic item by safely collecting it without harm to yourself. Never treat your pet with your own medication but rush it to a vet immediately. Pets require different dosages of medication and will not respond to medication in the same way as humans.

The dog park was located in Sussex and has many Brighton residents worried which is why many of them including the police are spreading awareness due to the nature of copy cat criminals online who could get similar ideas.
