The New York City is not always about its glory there are some pitfalls as well. When we look at its history, we may call the present city as starkly different from what it was years ago. During the 1980s, the New York subway was the most dangerous mass transit system in the world as over 250 felonies used to be committed every week at that time. It was so dangerous that it would lose over 300 million riders over the course of the decade. It was hotbed of crime and drug use at that point of time.
