Time and again it has been medically emphasized that the health of your hair is directly correlated with the diet which you follow. Unfixed eating schedules, poor eating habits, intake of alcohol, drugs or nicotine damages the hair permanently. Instead, your diet should include protein, zinc, vitamin E and essential nutrients derived from veggies and fruits good for hair. Such ingredients can be derived from eggs and seafood, avocadoes, prunes. Irons and calcium can be got from legumes, fish, nuts, buckwheat, poultry and wheat.

11Neglecting to wear hats

The sun’s UV rays can literally burn your hair. If you cannot avoid going out in the blazing sun, always make it a point to wear a hat or a protective cap. Remember the cap should not be too tight as it can hinder blood flow. Also get a woollen hat for dry winters and if possible a sauna hat for protection from heated steam. These prevent moisture from escaping the hair.

12Not washing your comb or brush

Always wash your comb and scrub it in hot water once a week in the same way you would your tooth brush and personal towel and razor. Items of personal hygiene must be kept sparklingly clean always and not to be shared with anyone either. Also, keep replacing your comb once their teeth are blunt or disfigured or uneven.
