People often wonder about what is really the motive behind turning into serial killers. If we look into the true crime documentaries, we will find out that most of the serial killers are often motivated by the thoughts that doing this act will make them famous. They just fantasize to go into history with their terrible acts. They always dream of becoming someone like Jack the Ripper.

1Dorothea Puente

Dorothea Puente is known as Death House Landlady. This lady was very ferocious and is accused in many murder cases. During the 1980s, Puente used to give her rooms on rent to elderly and mentally challenged people. Her house was located in Sacramento area. This lady was in the habit of cashing the social security checks which used to come for them. In case, anyone complained about this, she would kill them.

2Edmund Kemper

Kemper is one psychopath who is known for his serial killing. He was a serial killer, necrophile, rapist, and cannibal. Kemper was so evil-minded he killed his own grandparents when he was only 15 years old. Kemper once said, “When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part of me wants to take her out, talk to her, be real nice and sweet and treat her right … [and the other part of me wonders] what her head would look like on a stick.”

3Robert Hansen

Robert Hansen is also known as “Butcher Baker.” He was an American serial killer. Between 1971 and 1983, he was responsible for abduction, rape and murder of 17 to 30 women in Alaska. He would use weapons to hunt the women. He was arrested in 1983 and was given sentencing of 461 years and also a life sentence. It was also mentioned in the sentencing that he would not be given parole in any condition.
