So ultimately recycling for many may have gone too far. Instead of cleaning your backside with paper, it’s now family cloth. The very thought of advocating cloth to clean your poo and then wash it later is nauseating but then that’s going to reduce your carbon footprint so they say.

One wonders why there is such a problem to seek an eco-friendly way to o clean your backside when in countries like India; all you have to do is wash!!There is also the bidet feature which is considered more hygienic than toilet paper. Clean water reduces the chance of infection.

If clean water is used, it reduces the inherent chances of infection that is caused by toilet paper and it won’t even clean you thoroughly as water would. But coming back to the issue of family cloth. Instead of throwing away the cloth like tissue paper, you just throw it in a hamper to be washed and reused which again brings up the question that washes it, do you get your hands dirty or do you wash it in the washing machine and soil that device with poo.
