Potato can actually soften your skin and make it smooth! Potato skin is rich in catecholase enzymes that have the ability to naturally lighten the dark patches on the skin. Mix some turmeric with 1 tsp of milk and make a thick paste. Apply this paste in the darkened patches and massage it and leave it dry naturally. Once the paste dries off, wash it off with warm water. For better results, you can add a bit honey into the mixture as well.

Finding it hard to believe? Then just try this method regularly and see the difference. Apply coconut oil in the affected skin areas after a bath or shower. Message for 2-3 minutes until the oil is well absorbed. For faster effect add ½ tsp of fresh lime juice to the oil and gently massage the dark rough patches on the knees and elbows for a few minutes. Repeat this exercise daily for faster result.
