Brave 10-Year-Old Son Helps Mom in Emergency Labor Deliver His Own Baby Brother at Home

One morning Jayden’s Mom woke up to go the bathroom when her water broke

While pregnant with her third child, Ashly Moreau, Jayden’s Mom woke up one morning to use the bathroom at 34 weeks into her pregnancy. Her water broke because she was rushing to go pee and didn’t have time to stop. Soon she noticed her infant’s toes protruding.

Ashly’s fiancé had already gone to work, and she was all alone at home with her first son Jayden

Ashly’s children were the only ones in the house because her fiancé had already gone to work that morning. As a result, 10-year-old Jayden and his 11-month-old sister were the only ones present at home when their Mom went into labor. Ashly said, “The scariest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.”

Upon hearing his mother’s calls for help, Jayden rushed to the bathroom

Jayden ran to the bathroom to find his mother needing assistance with her unborn son’s feet already in full view. Luckily, Jayden was there to help her through her ordeal. Ashly says her baby didn’t appear to be breathing when she saw him because she noticed that the baby’s feet looked a bit purple. By that time, Jayden rushed over to his grandmother’s house, and they called the police for emergency services.

When most people would have freaked out or panicked, Jayden just did what came naturally to him. After returning home, Jayden found his mother on the floor as she prepared to give birth. Ashly recalled him taking a deep breath and telling her to tell him what he needed to do.
