Doctor Nadkarni headed the dicey brain tumor removal operation on pal and was assisted by five other surgeons. He was also given 11 units of blood and for three days survived on a ventilator for breathing support.

Dr. Nadkarni says that as of now it isn’t known if the tumor was cancerous or not but he was happy that Pal wasn’t showing any symptoms of cancer. He also mentioned that there was no other solution, the tumor had to be taken out or eventually, it would have posed a huge danger to his life.

As for Pal, he is fine and recuperating well. He was last reported to be walking around and is well on his way to recovery. He is now famous for having undergone the world’s largest brain tumor removal till of course someone else beats him to it.
