Apart from the famous celebrities who attended the wedding very few major political faces were seen. Sir John Major who was the former Conservative Prime Minister was seen at the wedding along with his wife. Sir John had been appointed as special guardian for both the Dukes following the passing of their mother.
Musical Legend Sir Elton John performed during the lunchtime break. The British legend was very close to the Duke’s mother Princess Diana and attended the wedding with his husband David Furnish.
The guest list for this wedding wasn’t as large as when Prince William got married. When Prince William tied the knot in 2011 the guest list was around 1900 people.
Prince William’s son Prince George was the pageboy for the wedding and his daughter Princess Charlotte was among the bridesmaid.
Multiple-times tennis champion Serena Williams was at the wedding. Indian actress Priyanka Chopra was also seen there. Football legend David Beckham and his wife Victoria who are long-time friends with the royal family were all invited.
