Life is also a little more difficult for 24-year-old Jyoti Amge from India.
Jyoti is world’s smallest woman who is only 2 feet tall. It was also an amazing sight when Jyoti Amge met world’s tallest man, 35-year-old Sultan Kosen from Turkey recently. Sultan is 8 feet 1 inches tall. When both of them came in a single frame, the sight was so amazing. While Sultan looked no less than a skyscraper, Jyoti looked like she was just the size of his shoes.

Both of them joined together for a photoshoot which happened in Egypt. The pictures taken at the photoshoot are no less than amazing. The project was arranged by Egyptian tourism promotion board. And, it is getting a lot of attention all across the world.

Jyoti is suffering from a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. This is a genetic problem which affects the growth of bones. This also causes short stature and unbelievably short limbs. Jyoti was called the shortest woman in the world in 2001 when she was only 18 years old. At the age of 18 years, she weighed only 11 pounds.

Jyoti has all her things custom-made for her according to her height. These items include clothes, plates and utensils. Similarly, Sultan also requires custom-made items for him as well. Sultan also had to struggle with many things because of the gigantic height.

Sultan is so tall because of pituitary gigantism. This is a problem where pituitary gland secretes a lot of growth hormones. As a result, people suffering from this problem witnesses excessive body growth and height. Sultan was given the title of world’s tallest man in 2001 by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Sultan was the first one in 20 years who was included in the book for height. He also achieved a record for having largest hands. He had an amazing 11.2 inches distance from his wrist to top of the middle finger.

“I never imagined I would be in the book, I dreamed about it, but it was still a huge surprise,” Sultan said. There was every reason for him to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records and there was absolutely no need to be surprised.

As per the Guinness Book of World Records, there are only ten people who have been recorded more than 8 feet tall in the history. Earlier, Sultan got this opportunity to meet world’s smallest man at the annual Guinness World Records Day celebrations in London.

The 74 years old Bahadur Dangi of Nepal was only 21.5 inches tall and his weight was only 32 pounds. Dangi is a weaver by profession and he also helps intending the livestock in his Nepalese mountain village of Reemkholi.

“To be able to finally meet Chandra after all this time is amazing. Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives, and when I look into Chandra’s eyes, I can see he’s a good man,” Sultan said of Dangi.
