Ray Kurzweil is an inventor, a scientist, a futurologist and an acclaimed writer who has suddenly become the talk of the town. His predictions like robots being a common household item as microwave ovens do not assume but actually name the year. In this case, 2027. As a full-time employee of Google dealing with projects that involves artificial intelligence, development of machine language and processing, Ray is a genius whose predictions have all come true. What makes him so confident about his forecasts is his past track record which is eerily accurate. Ray predicted the dissolution of the U.S.S.R, a computer which would beat the best human chess player in the world and invention of domestic digital assistants like Siri and Alexa.
When Ray analyzed three of his books that made predictions between 1990-2005, 115 came true out of 147. The rest were partially true and only 3 didn’t make it which makes Rays success rate 86%.
