Insane Online Store Owner Goes 530 Miles To Confront Woman Who Wrote Bad Review

It has long been established that we should take criticism positively. It is actually criticism which gives you an idea about the areas where you need to work upon. However, naturally, most of the people respond to criticism negatively. The ideal scenario of taking criticism positively is rare. It is also a fact that humans are primarily a proud beings. They always like to be appreciated. They always try to cover up for their mistakes and respond negatively when anyone says bad things about their performance. The always take pride in their achievements and want no negative words about it.

However, there is also a lot who are very bad at taking the criticism. There might be different reasons for it. One of the reasons would be that they might be a sensitive human beings and hence would find it difficult to cope with that. Other reason would be that they might be a raging narcissist wrongly think that they are just perfect human beings.

1People sometimes resort to violence when they are criticised

Most of the time criticisms are responded with words if they are not able to take it. It is hardly seen that people resort to manhandling once they are criticized. It is also a fact that most of the sane people would not indulge in violence once they are criticized. But, no one can deny that there are exceptions to everything that we know.

2Man travels great distance to attack person who wrote bad reviews

We have come to know about an online shop owner based out in east China who is exactly one of the rare exceptions of this. The man is so insane that he actually travelled a great amount of distance to manhandle a woman for writing bad reviews about his online store. That man actually travelled a distance of 530 miles to deal with the woman who wrote bad reviews.

3Man attacked the young woman violently

The man manhandled the young woman so badly that she required hospital treatment after the attack. The attack was actually captured by a surveillance camera. It was shown in video that the man who was holding a bag moved towards the young woman at started beating her. The incident happened on a street.

4Li was irked by the poor service of the store

There was a reason why it all happened. Actually, on December 20, 2017, the young woman whose name was Xiao Li had ordered apparels from an online store. The young lady lost patience when the goods were not received by her after days of ordering it online. She was irked by the poor service.

5Li was disappointed as shipments got late by 4 days

Li had purchased 300 yuan ($46) worth of clothes. As she was upset with the service, she decided to complain to Taobao which is an e-commerce website. She explained her disappointment of not getting the shipment on time and said that it was four days late.

6Zhang was furious on bad reviews of his store

Zhang, who was the seller, was furious on the bad review of his online store. In haste, he vowed to kill Li. The attack actually happened at a delivery point in Zhengzhou, Henan Province on December 27. The heinous video shows Zhang hurriedly approaching Li and hitting her on face. He also violently pushed her to the ground.

7Onlookers did not stop Zhang from assaulting Li

It was also a surprise that there were onlookers who saw the assault from very close and they did not try to stop Zhang from attacking Li. The whole thing was captured by the surveillance camera. It has also come to the fore that Zhang had sent a series of threatening messages to Li and harassed her because she showed her displeasure for not getting her shipments on time.

8Zhang believed he had reasons to attack Li

The attack forces us to wonder why would an innocent and rightful review became the reason for the violent attack? Zhang was disturbed because of the bad reviews of his online store. Zhang believed he had reasons to attack the young woman.

9Online store’s rating was dropped by 12 points

The bad reviews of Zhang’s online store had a big impact on the business. As per the spokesperson of Taobao, the young woman had made a purchase from Zhang’s store at the time of year-end clearance. After Li wrote a bad review, the online store’s rating went down by 12 points.

10Action was taken against Zhang after the assault

There was some action taken against Zhang after the assault. Zhang was given 10-day detention. As a matter of fact, his online shop account was also permanently suspended by Taobao.

11Li had also received threatening message from store owner

Li had also received a threatening message from store owner Zhang on December 23. The message read, “I can destroy you,” She received this message after making complains to Taobao. As per reports, Li also got an anonymous call from Zhang. Zhang made this call from Suzhou in east China.

12Li suffered fractures and injuries

The violent assault had caused some damage to Li. She got a concussion, fractures in her left elbow. She also got some injuries on her face and different parts of the body.

13Erlijiang Police arrested Zhang in Suzhou

After the assault, the Erlijiang Police from Zhengzhou investigated the matter and traveled 534 miles to arrest him in Suzhou. The Police arrested him on January 6 and then police took him back to Zhengzhou. The whole chapter is very disappointing as one would never anticipate that someone is going to attach them when they write bad reviews online.
