A woman who says she spent five years in heaven is now telling people about her close call with death. In May 2001, while paramedics were taking care of her, the woman was pronounced clinically dead for 15 minutes. Even she says that she actually died, and when she woke up 15 minutes later, it felt like she had spent five years in heaven since the concept of time didn’t seem to exist there.
The woman named Dr. Linda Kramer, whose bizarre interview about dying and seeing the afterlife went viral on YouTube. In it, she says that she saw a mountain range 30,000 times bigger than Mount Everest and that while she was in heaven, she could take on any form she wanted and go anywhere just by thinking about it. You can watch the popular video of her interview at the end.
On May 6, 2001, Dr. Linda Kramer went to the bathroom early in the morning. She felt like she was going to sleep, but little did she know that she was actually falling into a final rest rather than her usual slumber. She said that this incident happened when she was living in the U.S.
Dr. Cramer said she got up to go to the bathroom, and the next thing she knew, she was “floating in the living room.” She said- “My ex-husband came running in, and then two paramedics ran in, and they went straight to where my body was in the toilet. I had no physical time here, I was floating in the living room.”

She said that she saw people come in and that she witnessed all of it outside of her physical body from a place high above. Dr. Kramer noticed that she wasn’t breathing and didn’t remember worrying about what would happen to everything she was leaving behind. According to her story, blue orbs filled with ‘pure white energy’ entered the room and buzzed around her.

She found out later that she had been clinically dead for almost 15 minutes, but while paramedics were treating her, she said she felt like she had been in heaven for five years. She explained- “The paramedic report says I was clinically dead for 15 minutes confirmed.”

Since “time did not exist” in the way it is perceived in heaven, she said she would figure out how much time had passed by how far she had travelled through this new realm. She used the fact that she could walk between three and six miles per hour in real life to keep track of time as she moved around heaven.

Dr. Linda found that in this domain, she could take on any shape she wanted. She could even become other people she met in heaven, and the place itself was full of beautiful sights. If she thought about being somewhere, she felt as if she was instantly teleported there right away. She could appear on top of mountains and other places seemingly at will.
She said, “That’s when I found myself standing in what I termed the field of flowers. I was observing the mountain range 30,000 times huger than Mount Everest. There’s a huge mountain range over in the back of wherever I was. I could see buildings with skyscrapers. Dubai are like little miniature huts in comparison. I saw lakes, I could see everything in a panoramic view. So, I’m there interacting with people, talking to people, becoming them.”

Medics at the University of Virginia say that a Near-Death Experience or NDE is a life-changing event that can happen in extreme situations where no sense experiences should be possible. They said these conditions could include trauma, the brain ceasing to work, deep general anesthesia, or cardiac arrest.

This can be different for each person, and experts say that most of the time, people who have had an NDE will feel very comfortable and free of pain. You might also feel like you’re leaving your body, while some people can see their bodies while floating above them.

Some people may find that their minds work much faster and more clearly than usual. This usually involves having vivid dream-like experiences or re-living memories of the past. Dr. Kramer also said that her experience was like a “life review” in which she thought about different parts of her life.

Others who have been clinically dead for a while and then came back to life say they saw visions of the afterlife. One woman wrote, “it’s real”, and pointed to the sky while doing this. Another man says that after being stabbed in the heart, he met the devil and was pulled out of hell by an angel after praying for the first time in his life while doctors tried to save him on the operating table.
But a scientist has said that there is no life after death because it is almost impossible for consciousness to last after death. This means that when you die, it is really the end.

Since then, Dr. Kramer has written a book called “Five Years in Heaven: What Heaven Taught Me.” She also drew pictures of what she saw during her NDE and put them in the book. But the one thing to acquire widespread attention was her online interview which went viral on YouTube. Watch the clip of her interview below-
