By Andrew Alpin, 7 January 2018

The entire Trump administration was greeted with a new year’s gift on the 3rd of Jan when The media and the white house panicked over a tell-all book released by Michael Wolff that seeks to shake America and reveal the bizarre truth of incidents that repeatedly take place in the White house Portraying the US president as a buffoon ridiculed by his own friends, aides and even his daughter Ivanka.

1Behind the White House walls

“Fire and Fury: Inside the White House” is a new book by journalist Michael Wolff that paints a sordid picture of Donald Trump, his ridiculous habits and his inability to understand administrative policy to the point of his own team comparing his intelligence to that of a child. It describes a poor and dysfunctional administration and focuses primarily on derogatory comments and juicy tidbits of an administration in disarray by Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

2Who is Michael Wolff?

Wolff was a media columnist and biographer of Rupert Murdoch. He is also an essayist, author of seven books and columnist who has won two national magazine awards as well as a mirror award. His Book Fire and Fury describes various comments about Trump and his family by former and now fired White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

Trump tried issuing a cease and desist legal letter against the book on January 4th as well as threats of libel lawsuits against Wolff, his publishers and Bannon but to no effect. The book was released on January 5th, yesterday and has already reached #1 on both Apple bookstore and Amazon.

3Ivanka on the Presidents weird hairstyle

Wolff describes the president as a hapless fool who never really expected to win and is repeatedly insulted by his staff including his own daughter where she describes Trump’s bizarre hairstyle ritual.

Starting off with the juiciest incident in the book is Ivanka Trump’s mockingly lurid description of her father’s hairstyle. In his book, Wolff writes Ivanka “often described the mechanics behind it to friends”. This is how she described his red carrot top hairstyle.

4The book has conducted over 200 interviews

Wolff’s book threatens to shake America polarizing it between those who never supported the President and who may now feel vindicated against his alleged stupidity and those who do support the President primarily for his stand on certain issues. The book has conducted 200 interviews including extensive input from Steve Bannon and others. The excerpts of the book are hilarious and not really surprising although none of the material has been independently verified. Here’s more interesting stuff that will truly surprise you of what goes on behind the walls of the White House indicating all is not well!!

5Trump never expected to win

Wolff claimed in his book that Trump never really expected to win the election but was more concerned with becoming famous and a martyr for standing up to Hillary Clinton. The Campaign would make his family including Ivanka and her husband celebrities and Steve Bannon the chief of the tea party. Even Melania who was assured that her husband would never win would be able to return to what she did best socializing and lunching. All trump wanted was to leverage his defeat for wealth and fame

In one passage Wolff quotes the National security advisor Michael Flynn as stating to friends that taking $45,000 from the Russians for a speech “would only be a problem if we won”.

6Trump was scared of the white house and ate cheeseburgers in bed while watching three TVs

According to Wolff, Trump found the white house scary. He would always lock himself away from his staff in his bedroom and even reprimanded cleaning staff for picking up his shirts from the floor.  He would be in bed by 6.30 eating cheeseburgers and watching three TV’s. His main point of contact with the outside world was his phone.

7He imposed weird rules for everyone and feared being poisoned

Trump outlined a whole new set of rules for everyone in the white house out of fear that he would be poisoned. Nobody was allowed to touch anything even his toothbrush. His longtime fear of being poisoned is why he always ate food from McDonalds. He also insisted on guiding the housekeeping when they should do his sheets and “he would always strip his own bed.”

8He could not grasp the American constitution

Wolff describes how Sam Nunberg, Supposedly Trump's buddy and former advisor a Republican policy analysts was sent to explain to Trump the basics of the US constitution. This is what Nunberg said

“I got as far as the fourth amendment,” says his sometime aide Sam Nunberg, “before his finger is pulling down on his lip and his eyes are rolling back in his head.”

9Who called Trump What?

It seems the gossip of the hour is who called trump what as Wolff puts it “There was now a fair amount of back-of-the-classroom giggling about who had called Trump what,” Wolff writes.

As reported in the book, Treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin and former chief of staff Rince Priebus called him an “IDIOT” Economic advisor Gary Cohn called him “dumb as shit”, National security advisor HR McMaster called him a “dope”. His friend Rupert Murdoch was reported as saying Trump was “a f**ing idiot”

10The most hated entity in the white house is Jarvanka

As you can guess Jarvanka is the husband-wife duo of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. Both of them decided to accept roles in the West Wing and have also made a deal with each other that of the opportunity arose, she would stand for president “the first woman president … would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump.”

11He and Melania sleep in separate bedrooms

The book reports that Trump and Melania sleep in separate rooms, the first white house couple to do so. On inauguration day, Wolff reports that there was a visible fight between the couple and Melania who cried on hearing Trump had won the election although her communication director Steve Grisham has denied this fact.

Wolff also reports that the President has an alleged habit of seducing married women and asking husbands about infidelity. He would tempt them with “girls coming in from Los Angeles at three o’clock” … and have their wives listened in on speakerphone.

12The incriminating email

It’s not just about Trump’s bizarre hairstyle ritual. Perhaps one of the most incriminating documents mentioned in the book is a damning email reportedly written by the leader of the President’s National Economic council Gary Cohn which you can read in the image below

Speaking in defense of Trump and against the authentic of the sources of the book, White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders was reported to have said that the book was “filled with false and misleading accounts from individuals who have no access or influence with the White House.”
