This world is full of people who are less fortunate than others. These people try to make ends meet in any way possible and even beg and do menial labor to feed themselves and their families. Most of times societies look down on them and they are not treated nicely. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have a heart.

John Thou is like any other kid in Kenya, however, he lives on streets and has to beg for food and money for his daily living. He usually asks for money or food from cars that stop at a specific traffic light on the street he lives. Thou is like thousands of unemployed youth who have nothing to do and have to live by begging etc.
These people are often looked down upon by people who have the means to get by. These kids are often seen as dirty, poor and some of them even take to pickpocketing. However some kids like john here have decided to stick to begging and doing odd jobs to meet ends meet.
However, some days back, an incident happened with Thou, the news of which has gone viral. Click next to read what happened.

On a routine day, Thou approached a car that had stopped at the traffic signal and knocked on the glass, begging for anything he could get. The lady in the car, Gladys Kamande, rolled down the window and when John saw her, he got a shock.
Gladys suffers from collapsed lungs and was connected to an oxygen concentrator, oxygen cylinders, and a generator to breathe properly. Still just 32, she had undergone 12 surgeries, one of which caused her to go blind as her optical nerve was damaged.
John asked her what all the machines were and Gladys calmly and patiently explained to him what each of the machines did. During the explanation, as he realized what Gladys was going through, John started crying and what he did next will make you cry also.

As Gladys explained all the machinery that was keeping her alive, John became emotional and started to cry. He took her hand in his and prayed to the lord that he provide to her whatever she needed for her treatment. One of the people, who happened to be passing by, took this image and shared it on social media.
The image had a huge impact for Gladys, as she received more than 3 million Shillings in just 4 days on her fundraising site and she now has half of the 7 million shillings she needs for her treatment in India. She repaid the help John did, by getting him off the streets and John will be enrolled in a school and John considers Gladys as her new mother.
