9Loss of Libido

This is one of the biggest problems of stress where males common experience a condition of erectile dysfunction and the inability to respond se*ually to partners. The same could be said for females with stress. The lack of wanting intimacy of any kind is one of the biggest signs you are overstressed. Such problems definitely need medical attention and a proper stress management routine. Couples should always express their problems to one another because once the problems are out they no longer take hold of you.

10You are under the weather

Stress creates more cortisol in the body which is the stress hormone. Chronic stress, on the other hand, creates cortisol sensitivity in the immune system which then leads to inflammation and an increased risk of contracting illness.

11Stomach problems

This is a known fact that stress causes gastric problems and many people who suffer from work stress have conditions like gastric ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome and reflux. The experience of butterflies in the stomach is also nothing but a response to stress before an event that you may be worried about, such as an interview. When you are stressed out, your muscles tire out and squeeze your organs causing stomach cramps and pains. While medication does relieve the pain, sudden flare-ups are relieved when the stressful condition subsides. You need to understand the reason for anxiety because once it is treated; these issues will no longer be caused by stress.

12Not being able to concentrate and focus

Negativity in your mind impedes your power to function well at work and home creating a lack of focus and concentration. Stress causes you to make mistakes and lose track of your work. You are unable to meet deadlines and work gets accumulated creating more stress. The trick here is to leave your work for some time and deal with your stress instead. Calm yourself down, try to relax, practice some calming mind exercises. Don’t allow your productivity to decrease because of stress.

13Headaches

Constant headaches with no reason at all are a sign of stress. Headaches are usually caused by a number of issues such as eye strain, insomnia, sleeping in the wrong position, and high or low blood pressure. But, in the absence of all these conditions, headaches are a sign of chronic stress due to muscle contractions in the neck and head region.
