Do you remember the little French child model Thylane Blondeau.?? In 2011 she was regarded as the most beautiful girl in the world. But!! Although even as a little child she was pretty no doubt, she also raked up a controversy regarding the topic of child modeling. Thylane Léna-Rose Loubry Blondeau was born in Aix en Provence of France on 5th April 2001.As a child model; there was a grave concern as to how children would be affected in future but with those piercing blue eyes Thylane was also an instant hit when she first walked down the ramp at a Jean Paul Gaultier show in 2005. It was evident that this young girl would grow up into a stunning young woman.
Thylane was about to be thrust into the world of glamour and fashion with the consent of her parents. However, it would result in a huge controversy when child psychologists and critics questioned the ethics of exposing a child to such a world at that tender age.

At the time when Blondeau was modeling, there wasn’t much controversy back then. But when at the age of ten she took part in a Vogue fashion shoot that was the time the issue raked up a storm. Several countries have even banned models below 16. Rather than praise, the Vogue photo shoot received huge criticism and there was uproar as to how children were being exploited and made to look like adults. Strictly speaking, it really wasn’t a good thing.
As if that wasn’t enough, at the age of 13, she was again chosen for another photo shoot appearing on the cover of Jalouse Magazine which named her the new Kate Moss.

Several organizations including the NGO Mother’s Union criticized the agency representing Blondeau. A spokesman for the charity stated we have grave concerns about the modeling agency that represent Blondeau, which clearly does not know if it represents a child or an adult,”
Blondeau’s mother Veronika, however, said I admit I myself was shocked during the photo shoot. But let me be precise: the only thing that shocked me is that the necklace she wore was worth €3 million!” Big deal!!. Blondeau’s mother later also mentioned that she had turned down several offers and that Blondeau would start leading a normal life.

As Blondeau grew up into a beautiful young woman, she continued to remain in the public spotlight and grew in popularity on Instagram. She can still be regarded as the most beautiful girl in the world. In an interview to teen Vogue in 2015, she said, “My favorite part of the job is meeting new photographers and makeup artists. I love to try on the clothes, too!” she told Teen Vogue in 2015”.

When asked about the controversy she had started regarding child modeling she said “Well, Kate Moss started modeling at the age of fifteen, and that was a little while ago,” she said. “So, no. I’m not too young. If you have a good agency and people who take care of you… it’s perfect.”
However, when asked by W magazine at the Parish Fashion week in 2016 what she would be doing after the show was over she replied “Going home to get some rest and going to school.”

Thylane Blondeau as the most beautiful girl in the world is now 16 and by the answers, she has been giving to her interviewers, it seems she does have an extremely intelligent head on her shoulders and knows exactly what she wants to do with her life. She isn’t just a pretty face and knows her priorities in life.
When Thylane isn’t modeling she enjoys activities like boxing, drumming, skateboarding, and posting on Instagram photos of her exotic holidays as she loves traveling. Although now a model, she keeps her beauty routine to a bare minimum. Blondeau even made her red carpet debut at Canned Film Festival in 2016 when she signed contracts with IMG models and L’Oreal. The pretty little girl of yesteryear was slowly stepping out of her controversial past towards becoming the next supermodel.

In September 2017, she was spotted in the front row of the Michael Kors show at the New York Fashion Week sitting with the likes of Nicole Kidman Catherine Zeta-Jones and Naomi Watts. She was dressed by the brand and was seen wearing leopard print top and moss green pants. Her outfit was worth $10,640 and her Michael Kors crocodile Bag was worth $8000. Her shoes of the same brand were valued at $550.
According to fashion houses, Thylane Blondeau is just 16 but a great fashion influencer with 1.6 million fans on Instagram alone, whatever she wears and displays on Instagram becomes a bestseller. The Michael Kors outfit was heavy trends chosen for the autumn and winter collection of 2017.

In the last week of September, Blondeau was seen walking the ramp in Milan for fashion heavyweight Dolce and Gabbana. She was modeling for the fashion brand’s spring collection 2018. She wore a white half sleeve gown which was designed with red and pink hearts and flowers. She was also photographed with the same pout mouthed stare she had actually practiced all week while in the front row. Incidentally, this is Blondeau’s second Dolce and Gabbana show this year.
Walking the ramp along with Blondeau were other young models who were offsprings of famous celebrities. There were Hailey Baldwin (Daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin) Amber Le Bon (daughter of Duran Duran singer Simon le Bon) and Corinne Fox (daughter of actor Jamie Foxx) to name a few.

Thylane Blondeau isn't very tall for a professional model.
