By Shruti Kaushik, 18 October 2017

Game of Thrones Season 7 has given its fans the best treat of 7 years. The dragons growing ferociously beautiful and one dying a painful, untimely and predicted death, a romantic ending much awaited by millions (Jon and Daenerys), and above all a dangerous alliance of three powerful sides to defeat one evil i.e. the White Walkers. The seventh season gave us plenty to gossip about and several theories to build which decides the motive for this article. Listing here 9 biggest fan theories of Season 8 Game of Thrones, we here might spill some spoilers. Possible Spoiler Alert!

1Bran is the Night King

The crippled Stark have many reasons to be the Night King. The first White Walker is somewhere assumed to be a Stark by fans which directs to the possibility of Bran being the Night King. Why we believe this? In the last episode of Season 7 when Viserion destroys the wall and leads the dead army towards the land of the living, they take up a wolf-shaped formation signifying the Stark sigil. This means that Bran can be the one directing the White Walkers or is the Night King. Well, to find the real truth, we have to wait for 2019.

2Daenerys and Jon will have a baby

Jon and Daenerys consummate their unsaid love in the last episode of Season 7. They both have pain in common and have lost everything only to come together at the end which means that the possibility of Jon and Daenerys having a baby is huge. Since the biggest mystery of Jon’s parentage is revealed and many “baby” hints in the last episode suggest that the Targaryen couple might have a Targaryen baby.

3Jamie will kill Cersei

The love of his life and his sister: We all hated Jamie from the first episode but that changed during the next seasons. Cersei, on the other hand, remains the plot layer of Game of Thrones. The most murderous women in the entire series proved that she will not care for a relationship when it comes to the throne. Blinded by her power, Cersei who is also pregnant is most likely to die by the hands of her brother in the eighth franchise. Since she is also on Arya’s list, it is still a conflict that who will kill the unworthy Lannister who is in the footsteps of becoming a Mad Queen.

4Jon is the Prince who was promised

When Jon died, then, at that moment probably the faith of fans in Game of Thrones shivered a bit. All thanks to the Lord of Light and his biggest fan, the red priestess, Melisandre, resurrected him from the dead as she believed he is the Prince who was promised. We see Bran also repeating relatively the same theory by the end of the episode during the revelation which proves that he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and not Daenerys (as much as Jon).

5The White Walkers might probably win

This can sound like a negative assumption created from our side but this cannot be denied that the possibility of the White Walkers victory is huge. Owing to the untimely tragedies acting out in uncalled situations, chances of a tragedy waiting for us is also there. Speaking out the logic here, the Night King has a snow dragon now, can fly wherever he wants to, raise a dead army from dead humans and walk into every graveyard of the seven kingdoms. So what’s stopping him? Eh, nothing we guess!!

6Sam is the one who is telling the whole story in a different year

Well, this might not come as a surprise as even earlier this theory was speculated. Around a couple of years ago, John Bradley in an interview with Hollywood Reporter said: "One theory is that what we're seeing now and how we're experiencing Game of Thrones is Sam telling the story of Game of Thrones."

7Cersei will betray Daenerys and Jon

No news. In the last episode of season seven, Cersei was shameless enough to tell Jamie that the alliance of King's Landing and North along with Westeros will do no good to them. Foolish enough or clever enough as she is, Cersei can go against her own word and turn the whole game upside down. She already has the Iron Bank along with her side and the cheap looking smug Euron Greyjoy, for the wrong reasons we are sure, which she thinks is enough to defeat Daenerys and Jon. An article by PopSugar, suggests that Cersei might be pregnant with Greyjoy’s child. If this is true then this will be less of a surprise and more disgusting to know.

8Bran Is the one who built the wall

The season six of Game of Thrones revealed that Bran can see the past and also manipulate it. There are endless possibilities that can narrate the fact that Bran can always change the whole history or if not whole then mold a big integral chunk of it. One of the theories as dictated by few fans suggest that anyone named as Bran in the history of Westeros can actually build the wall.

9Tyrion made a deal with the Devil/Cersei and betray Daenerys

The scene in which Cersei and Tyrion come face to face after few years gave us goosebumps. The murderous queen was giving the worst test of life since Cersei claims that whatever she does she does it for the family. Indeed Cersei spared Tyrion but not without a deal. She won’t go easy. To back the theory comes one questionable glance of Tyrion at Jon and Daenerys love consummation act. That one look made us all conclude that maybe Tyrion would betray his queen to save his family one last time.
