6Raw honey + yoghurt

Yoghurt has probiotics which is known to work wonders in our intestines and release healthy hormones in our systems. Yoghurt improves metabolism and might reduce the blood sugar levels too.

How to intake: Take 2 tbsp of raw natural honey and add it to a bowl of plain yoghurt and mix. You can then have this tasty yoghurt mix daily on an empty stomach or as breakfast.

7Raw honey + dry mint

Dried spearmint and peppermint leaves have a positive effect on people with high blood sugar levels. Adding these ingredients in your regular diet would obviously attack your diabetes for sure.

To consume: take a small bowl of mint powder and add 2 tbsp of raw honey and mix till it’s a thick paste. Now take 1tbsp of this paste and mix it in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it daily on an empty stomach.

8Green banana juice

Green or unripe bananas have pectins which reduce the rise in blood sugar levels right after you have had a heavy meal. Consumption of green banana juice is very beneficial for a diabetic person.

How to prepare: Take a green or unripe banana, peel it and slice it. Now put the slices in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain the water and blend the slices. You can add cold water to make it a smooth mixture. This drink must be consumed daily on an empty stomach or immediately after a meal.

9Ayurvedic powder: coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder

For a diabetic person, there is a useful Ayurvedic mixture which can easily prepared at home and be used to reduce the sugar level down at all times. The ingredients are Coriander seeds, fennel seeds fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder.

How to prepare: you need 1tsp of each choice of seeds and turmeric for this mixture. In a heated pan dry roast fenugreek seeds for 2 minutes and then set aside for cooling. Repeat the process with cumin, fennel and coriander seeds too. Grind all these seeds together with the turmeric powder. Now keep this powdered mixture and store it separately in a container. Now, every morning after breakfast and dinner, take 1 tsp of this powder and mix in a glass of water and drink it. One must also keep checking the blood glucose levels and insulin levels after every 3 days.

10Ginseng tea

Ginseng root has characteristics which can reduce blood sugar levels naturally in a diabetic patient, so daily consumption may mean a drop in glucose levels.

How to consume: Cut the ginseng root into thin slices. Add boiling water on to the slices and let it soak for 5 minutes. Now remove the roots and add more water and drink it daily. In fact, try getting ginseng tea bags and drink it daily for faster effects.
